An anchor bolt threading machine cuts the external thread required for the nut connection on a suitable anchor blank. IMC supplies die-head threading equipment in which the workpiece is clamped and tangential chasers rotate around the threading end. Select the machine for the actual anchor drawing and manufacturing stage, including whether the blank will subsequently be bent or assembled.
Define the anchor connection
Provide the steel grade, blank diameter, thread designation and pitch, plus the threaded length at each required end. The drawing should distinguish the overall anchor length from the length being threaded. If the anchor has a hook, bend or plate arrangement, show its dimensions and discuss access and clamping with IMC. A long blank also needs a practical loading and support arrangement.
Match tooling to the anchor schedule
List the anchor sizes and expected quantities before comparing machine models. Different thread forms require appropriate chasers; a nominal diameter alone does not identify the correct tool set. Confirm die-head compatibility, usable travel and the method of setting the threaded length. Ask which chasers and accessories are included for the first anchor size and what additional tooling is needed for later batches.
Check the first threaded component
Agree the drawing dimensions and thread inspection method before production. A representative sample can establish fit with the specified nut and compliance with the required thread length and gauge. Keep these requirements separate from a general output estimate. To obtain an offer, select the available configuration, add the quantity to the Quote List and include the anchor drawing, delivery destination and site power supply. The quotation should identify the model and tooling against the intended anchor work.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bolt Threading Machine
The described process cuts an external thread using a rotating die head and suitable chasers around a held workpiece. Cold rolling is a separate process requiring its own material and blank assessment.
The blank dimensions determine how the component can be held and supported, while the finished drawing identifies profile, pitch, fit and thread length. Both are needed for tooling review.
The comparison contains bed references of 6–25, 10–40 and 12–65 mm, and a pillar reference of 25–100 mm. Confirm the specific required application in the approved offer.
Use a representative material and threaded length. Agree the gauge or inspection procedure, then record loading, cutting and checking time together with the accepted sample settings.
Ask for the supplied head and tool identification, compatible spare sets, replacement procedure and resharpening guidance. Do not assume unidentified existing tools can be mixed safely.
